Aims and Scope

The Journal of Memory (JM) is an open access, online-only publication focusing on the study of memory and related phenomena. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and meta-analyses of memory studies in all areas of psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and related fields. The journal also publishes special issues and occasional review essays.

JM is a peer-reviewed journal. All manuscripts are subject to a rigorous, external review process. JM will accept manuscripts from researchers all over the world. Submission of a manuscript implies that it has not been published previously and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

The journal is supported by a distinguished international Editorial Board of leading scholars in the fields of psychology and neuroscience, cognitive science, and philosophy. The Editorial Board members provide guidance on the direction of the journal, review manuscripts, and offer advice and support to authors.
