About The Journal

The Journal of Biomaterials (JBI) is an open access, interdisciplinary journal focusing on research, development and applications of biomaterials. It publishes peer-reviewed original research and review articles covering recent technological advances in the field. It is a great resource for scientists, engineers, clinicians, doctors and other healthcare professionals involved in the use of biomaterials for improving human health.

 

The journal encourages contributions from various fields such as medical devices, biochemistry, biophysics, engineering, tissue engineering, drug delivery systems and nanotechnology. It aims to provide a platform for researchers to share their research and ideas to stimulate further research and discussion among academia, industry and other stakeholders. The journal also encourages papers that examine clinical aspects of biomaterials and their applications in human health. 

Submission Process:

JBI offers authors a fast and convenient way to submit their manuscripts for publication. Manuscripts may be submitted in Microsoft Word and PDF format via online submission portal. Once submitted, manuscripts are subject to an in-depth review process and are evaluated on technical accuracy, relevance, and originality.

Instructions to Prepare your article:

The journal encourages authors to submit original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. All submissions should be written in accordance with the Instructions for Authors provided on the JBI website. To submit a manuscript, authors must create an account and log in to the JBI submission portal. Authors are strongly encouraged to include a short description of the research in their submission in addition to the manuscript itself. Final decisions regarding acceptance of a submitted article rest with the editorial team.

Article Processing Charge:

In order to cover publishing costs, JBI has an Article Processing Charge (APC) per accepted article. As an open access publisher, JBI is committed to the delivery of quality research to the global biomedical community.
