Decreased antioxidant ability is one of the worsening conditions in AIDS.We aimed to evaluate total antioxidant ability among others, and their variation in HIV infected patients following their CD4+T cells count and viral load, in a context of new ART scarcity in most LMICs. We conducted a cross sectional study on 167 individuals (76 controls, 33 treatments naïve and 58 HIV-1 infected patients on ART). We assessed their plasma total antioxidant ability (FRAP), malondialdehyde (MDA) and thiol (SH) groups using standard spectrophotometric methods, then we calculated lipid peroxidation index (LPI). Scrotal Epidermoid Cyst Presenting as Extra-Testicular Scrotal Mass: A Diagnostic Dilemma
Abstract:
We hereby report a scrotal epidermoid cyst presenting as a scrotal mass which a rare entity in the absence of trauma. 36years old male presents with a complaint of left sided testicular swelling and discomfort. The workup included clinical examination, alpha-fetoprotein (αFP) and beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) analyses and scrotal ultrasound. Clinically confused as testicular malignancy. Complete surgical excision of the cyst was performed. Histopathology confirmed epidermoid cyst with no evidence of malignancy.

Assessment of Traffic Policemen Exposure To Benzene by Using Trans, Trans-Muconic Acid Biomarker in Ahvaz City, Iran
Abstract:
Benzene is known as an environmental and industrial pollutant. One way to check the amount of exposure to benzene is to measure its metabolites in the urine. Trans, Trans-Muconic Acid which is one of its metabolites is also as a biological indicator of exposure to benzene. In this study, the relationship between the amount of this biomarker and the environmental benzene concentration was investigated in two groups of policemen working outdoors in the traffic-congested areas and indoor in the same area. The results showed that the highest amount of benzene was in Salman Farsi Station at 4.44 ppm. At the same time, the biomarker measured in the urine showed 127.20 μg / L, which was the highest amount. In addition, the amount of benzene in the outdoor was approximately 3 times more than indoor and the amount of biomarker measured in outdoor employees was two times more than indoors ones. Rare Association Between Neuroimmunological Diseases: A Possible Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome Type IV
Abstract:
Autoimmune polyglandular syndromes (APS) are a diverse group of clinical conditions characterized by loss of immune tolerance in various tissues. This condition can be diagnosed in childhood or adulthood, with changes in the components of the disease throughout life. Here, an unusual case of association between immune-mediated diseases will be addressed: Myasthenia Gravis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Celiac Disease. In this patient, each disease was expressed over time. Finally, we assume that this is a clinical form of APS type IV, due to the lack of thyroid involvement to date.
Artificial Neural Network Model for Rainfall Data Analysis During 2004-2017 in Tamil Nadu, India – Prevailing Pattern Evaluation on Climate Change

This research paper focuses on rainfall variations in Tamil Nadu, India using Wavelet, Linear regression and Artificial Neural Networks model from 2004 to 2017. As the rainfall is the key factor in understanding climate change, the seasonal datasets from 2004-2017 of Tamil Nadu state has been taken for study. The salient feature of this study is the application of Neural Networks and wavelet analysis. It reveals that the rainfall variations are ambiguous that it does not maintain a constant pattern. Wavelet coefficients of multiresolution spectrogram reveals that the intensity of rainfall in each year. Linear regression model divulge the pattern of rainfall followed in every season and the results show that except winter season all other season suffers deficient rainfall. By increase the incidence of infection of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), diagnostic factors for early identification of high-risk individuals are important. On the other hand, more infections are in older patient, comorbidities, and male patients. Identification of components that related to severity of COVID-19 contributed to ACE2 and TMPRSS2 genes, which are critical for viral infection. It was found that adding enzyme copy, hrsACE2, lures the virus to attach itself to it instead of the actual cells… It inhibits the virus from infecting the cells in the lungs and other organs.
Management of Plastıc Bronchıtıs in Chıldren: A Case Report and Lıterature Revıew
Abstract:
Plastic bronchitis (PB) is a rare disease characterized by the presence of mucofibrinous plugs which may occlude and conform the shape of tracheobronchial tree. These casts are exteremely cohesive. Most common presenting symptoms include cough, fever and dyspnea and if the cohesive casts occlude the airway totally life-threatening complications and even death may occur. The aim of treatment is to remove the casts and adress the symptoms. In this study a 6-year-old boy with PB is presented. In addition to medical treatment obstructing casts were removed via rigid bronchoscope. It is aimed to review the clinical and radiographic features and choices of treatment in this disease.
