Developmental Biology

Developmental biology is the scientific study of how organisms develop and grow over time. It examines the complex processes and mechanisms that control the formation of embryos, the growth and differentiation of cells, and the development of organ systems. Developmental biology is an important field of research, as it can provide insights into evolutionary processes, and can be used to better understand congenital defects, genetic diseases, and cancer. Research in this field is helping to improve the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases and to better understand the normal functioning of the human body.
