Systems Biology

Systems Biology is a data-driven scientific field that seeks to understand how components of a biological system interact to produce observed functions. It uses mathematical models, simulations and experiments to analyse how these components interact, in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the system. Systems Biology has found applications in a variety of biological research areas, such as drug discovery, genetic engineering, and disease diagnosis and treatment. It has also been applied to a variety of other fields, such as the study of ecological systems, evolution, and social networks. Systems Biology is a rapidly growing field that has the potential to revolutionize our understanding of biology and its importance in human health and disease.
