Biography
Ritam Chowdhury, MS, PhD, MPH, is a physician from the Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery, with advanced training in epidemiology and biostatistics. Dr. Chowdhury completed graduate education at Harvard School of Public Health, Emory University, and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and received medical training at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College. His most-cited publication, "Impact of Prosthesis Size and Prosthesis–Patient Mismatch on Outcomes in Younger Female Patients Undergoing Aortic Valve Replacement" (2020), reflects his research expertise in clinical outcomes and patient-centered care.
