Biography
Young-Kyun Lee is an orthopaedic surgeon affiliated with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in Seongnam, South Korea. He has previously held positions in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Dankook University (2011–2023) and Chung-Ang University (2010–2012). His research has focused on conditions affecting the hip joint, particularly osteonecrosis of the femoral head, with his most-cited work being a 2021 comprehensive review on ARCO pathogenesis, staging, and treatment that has garnered 213 citations. With over 109 indexed publications, Dr. Lee has made significant contributions to the field of orthopaedic surgery and hip preservation.
