Aims And Scope

Journal of Dermatologic Research and Therapy (JDRT) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research relevant to human and veterinary dermatology and associated fields. This journal emphasizes research and clinical advances in the treatment and understanding of skin diseases, both healthy and diseased skin, as well as emerging aspects of diagnostics in the medical, surgical, therapeutic, and radiological subspecialties related to Dermatology.

 

JDRT focuses on the latest trends in research, therapy, and preventive strategies for skin diseases. The journal covers topics such as photodynamic therapy, skin cancer, bilirubin, melasma, drug-induced skin diseases, and wound care. Each published article is open access and available for anyone to read, download, copy and share. This promotes scientific collaboration between countries and organizations through its international platform. JDRT includes research into the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of skin diseases, with a particular focus on developments in dermatological drug and systemic therapy, clinical practice, and dermatological surgery. Special themes for manuscripts focus on emerging topics and discoveries in dermatology, dermatopathology, phototherapy, laser treatment, pharmacology, and nutrition in dermatology. 

 

JDRT invites authors from around the world to submit original copies of their research, case studies, and reviews within the scope of the journal, including allergic and immunologic skin diseases, biologic and systemic therapies, cancer of the skin, childhood dermatologic diseases, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the aging skin, dermatology of internal disorders, dermatologic problems in women, dermatopathology, genetics, hair and scalp diseases, inherited disorders of connective tissue, nail diseases, photo modulation, combined phototherapy and systemic agents, and skin therapeutics, cutaneous biology, cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, infectious diseases, medical and surgical treatments, lasers and energy-based devices, nutraceuticals, psoriasis and related inflammatory disorders, new technologies.

 

JDRT welcomes submissions from dermatologists and dermatology researchers, public health professionals, epidemiologists, dermatopathologists, and other health care specialists who contribute to the advancement of Dermatologic research. Whether it’s demonstrating novel discoveries and treatments, exploring gaps within the current understanding of the dermatologic disease, or assessing current practice, we are always happy to hear and consider new submissions. The goal of JDRT is to provide the latest advancements, research, and clinical practices in the field of dermatology. The journal aims to publish original and informative articles, including research in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications, as well as other forms of academic discourse. This helps researchers to stay up to date on the latest innovations and trends in the field.

 

The scope of the Journal of Dermatologic Research and Therapy (JDRT) includes, but is not limited to, research related to the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, including allergic and autoimmune skin diseases, skin cancer, hair and nail diseases, and cosmetic procedures. We also accept papers on other issues related to dermatology, cosmeceuticals, skin microbiome, nanotechnology applications in dermatology, dermatopathology, and laser therapy.
