Aims and Scope

 

Journal of Enzyme is international open access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish contributions in the form of Original Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials in the areas of enzyme technology. 

 

JEN acts as a forum for the discussion of new developments in enzyme technology and biocatalysis, putting an emphasis on emerging technologies and focusing on both the fundamental and practical aspects.

 

The Journal of Enzymes (JEN) serves as a medium for the dissemination of scholarly research into the field of enzymology and related disciplines. The journal provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and the advance of the current body of knowledge, as well as contributing to the development of new methods and technologies for the study of enzymes.

 

The scope of JEN covers all aspects of enzymology and related disciplines, including molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and related topics. Original research findings and reviews, as well as letters, notes, and comments, are all welcomed. In addition, commentaries, dealing with policy and other controversial issues, are also accepted. 

 

JEN aims to provide a comprehensive overview of enzymology and to stimulate further research in the field. The journal encourages the submission of manuscripts that demonstrate a strong scientific basis for their results and conclusions. 

 

To this end, the journal encourages the submission of special issues which provide an opportunity to share ideas and opinions, and to discuss current trends in enzymology.
