Proposal Requirements

A strong proposal should include:

  1. Proposed Title: A descriptive and concise title for the Special Issue
  2. Scope Statement: A 300-500 word description of the theme and key research questions
  3. Guest Editor CVs: Brief bios of all proposed Guest Editors (1-3 recommended)
  4. Timeline: Proposed dates for call for papers, submission deadline, and publication
  5. Potential Contributors: A list of 5-10 potential authors who might be invited
Submission & Review

Proposals are submitted via email to the JMID Editorial Office. Following receipt, proposals are reviewed by our Editor-in-Chief and Advisory Board. This process typically takes 2-4 weeks.
