Focused Collections for Emerging Priorities
Special issues highlight priority topics and bring together multidisciplinary research across women's health.

Ongoing special issues are themed collections open for submissions during defined periods. Accepted articles are published as they become ready, creating a rolling collection of evidence around a shared focus.

Accepted manuscripts are copyedited and typeset before final publication. Articles appear online as soon as proofs are approved, and the collection is updated continuously.
Guest editors support reviewer selection and thematic alignment, but all manuscripts are evaluated through the journal's standard editorial workflow. The editorial office retains final decision authority to ensure consistency and integrity.
Special issue articles follow the same APC policy as regular submissions. Discount or waiver requests should be made during submission and will be assessed by the editorial office based on eligibility. Fee questions can be sent to [email protected].
New calls are posted throughout the year. Check this page regularly or email [email protected] if you want to be notified of upcoming themes. We respond as quickly as possible.
