Biography

Dr. Ramanpreet Singh is an Associate Professor at Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, having completed his PhD at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. His research focuses on biomechanical engineering, particularly the design and optimization of lower limb exoskeletons, linkage synthesis, and gait analysis for assistive devices and biped robotics. He employs nature-inspired optimization algorithms, particle swarm optimization, and finite element analysis to advance the development of exoskeleton mechanisms that replicate natural human movement trajectories. Dr. Singh has authored over eleven indexed publications, with his most-cited work being "A Novel Gait-Inspired Four-Bar Lower Limb Exoskeleton to Guide the Walking Movement" (2019), which presents innovative synthesis procedures for designing exoskeletons with biomimetic gait patterns. His contributions span theoretical optimization methods and practical applications in orthotic device design and anthropometric analysis of human skeletal structures.
